They are functional ceramic materials capable of mutual conversion between mechanical energy and electrical energy. Piezoelectric ceramics are a class of electronic ceramic materials with piezoelectric properties. Their primary distinction from typical piezoelectric quartz crystals, which contain no ferroelectric components, lies in that the primary crystalline phases constituting them are all ferroelectric crystal grains.
